Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup of flour
- 2/3 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 and 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Grease or line your 13 x 9 in pan with parchment paper. Set aside. (For thicker brownies use a 8x8 inch pan.)
Step 2: In a large bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar and salt. Set aside.
Step 3: In a separate bowl mix together the granulated sugar and olive oil until well combined.
Step 4: Beat in the eggs one at a time, making sure the first egg is well combined before adding the second.
Step 5: Mix in your vanilla extract and water.
Step 6: Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Your batter should be on the thicker side.
Step 7: Once everything is combined turn off your mixer and with a spatula scrape the sides and bottom of my bowl to make sure everything is fully incorporated.
Step 8: Add the batter to your prepared baking pan, spread batter evenly and bake for 28 to 35 minutes or until your toothpick comes out with only a few crumbs attached.
(If you are using a smaller pan for thicker brownies you will likely need to increase the baking time.)
Enjoy!
